Pediatrik Ağır Travmatik Beyin Hasarında Mortaliteyi Etkileyen Faktörler

Aim: It is aimed to determine the factors affecting mortality in pediatric patients followed up with severe traumatic brain injury intensive care unit. 
 Material and method: All Pediatric Intensive Care Unit between April 2019 2021 due were included. Demographic characteristics, pre-intensive interventions imaging findings, treatments applied intervention information of all collected. Results evaluated as survival rate, presence tracheostomy requirement, death, Cerebral Performance Scale at discharge. The divided into two groups survivors non-survivors. obtained data compared groups. Results: During study period, 47 a diagnosis up. was observed that requirement cardiopulmonary resuscitation, need for inotrope-vasopressor erythrocyte transfusion statistically significantly higher non-survivor group. (p value, respectively: 0.001, 0.001) rate group 70.2%. In most common pupil response admission fixed-dilated (71.4%). 60% lost first 24 hours care. Conclusion: Mortality increases who inotrope before Patients died showed pathologic pupillary low GCS. Severe TBH mostly admission.
